Job Summary
The Certified Surgical Technologist plays a crucial role in providing high-quality support in the Pediatric Operating Room. This position is focused on ensuring optimal care for children during surgical procedures, highlighting the importance of both patient preparation and the organization of the surgical environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of the surgical patient for procedures.
- Ensure that the operating room is properly set up and maintained.
- Support the surgical team during operations by providing necessary instruments and supplies.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout the surgical process.
- Collaborate effectively with medical professionals to guarantee patient safety and quality care.
Qualifications
- Completion of a Surgical Technologist program or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience in a pediatric health care setting is highly preferred.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and patient care protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
