Job Summary
The Surgery Partners Brand is looking for a dedicated Surgical Technologist to provide essential support during surgical operations. This position focuses on upholding sterile practices, preparing necessary instruments, and prioritizing patient safety in a dynamic operating room (OR) setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team by preparing the operating room and ensuring all equipment is sterile and ready for use.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and safety to protect patients throughout surgical procedures.
- Support the surgeon and other healthcare professionals during surgeries.
- Manage surgical instruments and supplies effectively to ensure quick access during operations.
Qualifications
- Relevant certification or degree in surgical technology is preferred.
- Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with the surgical team.
