Job Summary
The Systems Administrator for Engineering & Infrastructure will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the company’s IT systems and infrastructure. This position demands a blend of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure that all systems operate smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support various projects and initiatives that enhance system functionalities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to minimize downtime and disruption.
- Conduct regular system audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Implement and manage system upgrades and patches to improve reliability and security.
- Design and deploy advanced configuration and network management strategies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role within IT support.
- Strong understanding of networking, server management, and systems integration.
- Proficiency in various operating systems, including but not limited to Windows, Linux, and UNIX.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud computing solutions.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
