Job Summary
The position of Systems Engineer III – Containers focuses on the management of the Openshift/Kubernetes platform. This role involves close collaboration with various teams including DevOps, Cloud, and Security to ensure efficient container orchestration and administration within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Openshift/Kubernetes environments.
- Work with cross-functional teams to enhance application deployment processes.
- Implement best practices in container management and orchestration.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Support security initiatives related to containerized applications.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in cloud engineering or a relevant technology field.
- Possession of a High School Diploma or GED as an alternative qualification.
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies, especially Openshift and Kubernetes.
- Ability to work effectively in remote and onsite environments.
- Experience with collaborative tools and methods used in DevOps practices.
