Job Summary
The Tax Senior will play a pivotal role in managing the preparation and review of intricate federal and California state tax returns for a varied clientele. This position involves providing guidance and support to junior team members and acting as the main liaison for tax planning and audit assistance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and review process for complex federal and state tax returns.
- Mentor junior staff and assist in their professional development.
- Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries regarding tax planning and audit-related matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- CPA license or a commitment to obtaining one is necessary.
- 3-5 years of relevant tax experience, ideally within a public accounting setting.
