Job Summary
The ACT Therapist plays a pivotal role in offering individual, group, and family therapy while partnering with a diverse team to provide behavioral health services within the community. This position is essential for supporting consumer recovery and enhancing overall mental health through dedicated therapeutic practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments to evaluate client needs.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual clients.
- Provide crisis intervention strategies to assist clients in critical situations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care delivery.
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions effectively.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in a human services field is required.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Professional licensure is preferred for candidates.
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred, particularly in working with individuals experiencing serious mental illness.
