Job Summary
This position is focused on conducting regular radiation assessments and calibrations on treatment apparatus to maintain safety standards and adhere to regulatory requirements. The role also includes overseeing dosimetry treatment planning processes and ensuring the functionality of radiation oncology equipment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly and monthly radiation measurements.
- Perform annual calibrations on treatment units.
- Supervise and support dosimetry treatment planning activities.
- Monitor the operational status of radiation oncology equipment.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Medical Physics.
- Board certification or eligibility from the American Board of Radiology.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication skills.
