Job Summary
The Freezer Production Operator plays a crucial role in managing the initiation, operation, and cleaning of production line machinery, all while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This position also involves the handling, weighing, and relocation of mushroom products within a cold storage environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the startup and functioning of production line equipment to ensure efficiency.
- Perform sanitation tasks on machinery to uphold hygiene standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality regulations during production.
- Handle, weigh, and transfer mushroom products within the cold storage facility.
Qualifications
- Basic computer skills are necessary for the role.
- Familiarity with production equipment is preferred.
- At least one year of related experience is preferred.
- A high school diploma or GED is advantageous.
- Ability to work in cold environments and lift weights between 10 to 20 pounds.
