Job Summary
The Trading Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting the trading desk by providing exemplary support to clients, clarifying procedures involved, and furnishing accurate quotes. This position also encompasses various administrative responsibilities, including correcting trades, managing mutual fund conversions, and ensuring adherence to both internal and external compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with inquiries and explain trading procedures.
- Provide accurate quotes to clients.
- Perform trade corrections and manage mutual fund conversions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant internal and external standards.
- Support the trading desk in daily operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general databases.
- Willingness to enhance knowledge related to equity trading.
- Acts as a stepping stone to a licensed Trader position.
