Job Summary
AHS Staffing is seeking a Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team in Portland, Oregon. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $1,840 per week. The role is designed for individuals who are certified surgical technologists, ready to provide essential support in surgical settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
- Ensure all necessary surgical instruments and supplies are ready for use.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize patient care and safety.
- Manage the handling and disposal of surgical waste in compliance with health regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated with best practices and technology.
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential is required.
- Previous experience in a surgical setting is preferred.
- Ability to work the night shift, 5 days a week for 8-hour shifts.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to different surgical departments as needed.
