Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms and ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are sterile and ready for use.
- Support surgeons and other medical staff during surgeries, ensuring a smooth workflow and optimal patient safety.
- Manage and maintain surgical supplies and instrumentation, keeping records as required.
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative care as necessary, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist through an accredited body.
- Experience in a surgical setting, demonstrating proficiency in assisting with a variety of surgical procedures.
- Strong understanding of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and operating room protocols.
