Job Summary
The Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) will be engaged in providing comprehensive laboratory services in Coos Bay, Oregon. This role offers a weekly salary ranging from $1,483 to $1,561, with a structured rotational shift pattern over a contractual period of 13 weeks, beginning as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic tests and analyses on bodily fluids and samples.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of laboratory results.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to discuss lab findings and patient care.
- Document results meticulously and manage laboratory records.
Qualifications
- Certification or eligibility for certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
- Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and health regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff.
