Job Summary
The role of Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) involves providing essential laboratory services in a hospital or clinic environment. This position is based in Portland, Oregon, and offers a competitive salary of $2,236 weekly. The technician will work onsite and is expected to partake in rotating shifts as required by the staffing agency, MedPro Healthcare Staffing.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of laboratory results.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing.
- Follow all safety and health regulations in the workplace.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a medical laboratory setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of laboratory protocols and safety standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
