Job Summary
TotalMed is currently in search of a qualified Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team in Coos Bay, Oregon. This position will require working onsite and encompasses a contract period of 13 weeks, commencing on October 29, 2026. We offer a competitive weekly pay structure, with specifics available upon inquiry.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests and analyses on patient specimens.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards within the laboratory.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results.
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as necessary.
- Document and report laboratory findings in accordance with established policies.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program.
- Current certification or eligibility by a recognized certifying body.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and teamwork capability.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts as required.
