Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team in Portland, Oregon. This position requires the technician to be onsite, providing essential laboratory services and support within a medical setting. The role is contract-based for a duration of 13 weeks, starting on 10/12/2026.
Responsibilities
- Conduct various laboratory tests and analyses on patient specimens.
- Ensure accurate collection, preparation, and processing of laboratory samples.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling hazardous materials.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide required information.
- Document and report lab results accurately in a timely manner.
- Manage inventory and supplies to ensure the laboratory operates efficiently.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
