Job Summary
The Registered Dental Assistant plays a vital role in aiding dentists by executing permitted procedures, conducting X-ray examinations, and offering guidance to patients regarding dental care practices. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists in various clinical tasks as permitted.
- Take X-rays to support diagnostic procedures.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.
- Ensure a sterile working environment within the clinic.
- Manage and maintain dental equipment effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for patient visits.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid California Registered Dental Assistant license.
- Current X-ray license is required.
- Certification in CPR/First-Aid must be up to date.
- Preferred: At least one year of recent experience in a dental setting.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Able to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
