Job Summary
The Upholsterer plays a crucial role in the creation, mending, and rejuvenation of furniture and cushions, employing a range of textiles. This position demands a commitment to uphold quality standards and maintain an orderly workspace while accurately documenting production activities.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and repair various types of furniture and cushions.
- Utilize different textiles to restore items to their intended functionality and aesthetics.
- Ensure all finished products adhere to established quality benchmarks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Document production processes and actions taken during repair and fabrication.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in upholstery is highly desirable.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods during work shifts.
- Proficiency in reading measuring tools accurately.
- Skills in tasks such as vinyl cutting and cushion assembly.
