Job Summary
The Utilities Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe functioning, upkeep, and repair of high-pressure steam boilers, water treatment systems, and various building utilities. This position involves a combination of technical skills and collaborative efforts on plant projects to maintain equipment reliability and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of high-pressure steam boilers.
- Conduct repairs on various building utilities and water treatment systems.
- Perform light pipefitting tasks as required.
- Oversee and manage wastewater operations effectively.
- Collaborate with plant project teams to improve equipment reliability.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in general utilities, focusing on boilers and steam systems.
- Proficient understanding of electrical principles, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
