Job description
The Utility Fitter plays a crucial role in carrying out expert maintenance, repair, and construction tasks related to water distribution infrastructure. Responsibilities encompass the installation of new water services, upkeep of pump stations, and addressing complaints regarding the system. Applicants are required to hold a valid Alaska commercial driver’s license, a Certificate of Fitness Plumbing Card, and a first aid certification. The position demands capability for substantial physical labor, the capacity to work under severe weather conditions, and the achievement of a water distribution Certificate of Competency.
