The vCIO acts as a technical strategist who owns the client’s technology roadmap and aligns IT initiatives with business goals. They are responsible for translating technical risks into business terms and providing leadership during budget and investment planning. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity with a focus on strategic advisory. Proficiency in technology roadmapping, budget planning, and knowledge of compliance frameworks like HIPAA and PCI DSS is required.
