Job Summary
The veterinarian will be responsible for the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of animals. This includes the performance of surgical procedures and the administration of vaccinations. Additionally, they will provide guidance to pet owners regarding medical issues and overall animal care, working closely with the veterinary hospital team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive examinations of animals to assess their health.
- Diagnose medical conditions and develop treatment plans.
- Perform surgical procedures as needed.
- Administer vaccinations and medications.
- Advise pet owners on care and health management.
- Collaborate with hospital staff for optimal patient care.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or an equivalent qualification.
- Valid veterinary license for the state of practice.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with pet owners and team members.
- Ability to handle animals with care and dexterity.
- Capability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations.
