Job description
The Veterinary Assistant plays a crucial role in aiding veterinarians and technicians by delivering care to patients, conducting diagnostic tests, and assisting during surgical procedures. Additional responsibilities include ensuring the cleanliness of the facility, overseeing inventory management, and providing clients with information on pet health and preventive measures. A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is necessary for this role. Although prior experience in veterinary work and applicable certifications are advantageous, the hospital is open to training individuals who demonstrate a positive mindset and a desire to learn.
