Job description
The Veterinary Assistant is tasked with assisting veterinarians during examinations, surgical operations, and dental procedures, all while ensuring precise medical records are kept. This role also involves fostering positive relationships with clients by communicating effectively and delivering compassionate care to patients. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a veterinary or animal care position and demonstrate strong skills in animal handling and restraint. Familiarity with veterinary terminology and medical documentation, along with the capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, is essential.
