Job description
The Veterinary Assistant will assist veterinarians and technicians by managing animals during procedures and ensuring that examination and treatment areas remain clean. This role involves being proactive in anticipating the needs of the team to promote smooth clinic operations throughout the day. Applicants should have a minimum of one year of experience in veterinary or animal care, with a preference for candidates familiar with equine care. Skills in patient restraint, medical record keeping, and administering medications are essential.
