Job description
The role of the Veterinary Assistant involves assisting with surgical and outpatient procedures, ensuring the safe handling of animals, and keeping precise medical documentation. Additionally, this position focuses on fostering strong relationships with clients by effectively communicating treatment plans and discharge guidelines. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in veterinary care or a related field, along with a solid understanding of animal restraint techniques and basic veterinary Terms. A keen eye for detail, a reliable work ethic, and the physical capability to manage patients throughout the day are essential for success in this role.
