Job description
The Veterinary Assistant plays a crucial role in assisting veterinarians during examinations, surgical procedures, and dental operations, ensuring safe handling and restraint of animals. This position entails maintaining precise medical documentation, monitoring anesthesia levels, and providing clients with guidance on treatment plans and discharge procedures. Applicants should have a minimum of one year’s experience in a veterinary or animal care setting and be skilled in phlebotomy, radiology, and providing surgical support. Effective communication abilities, keen attention to detail, and the capability to excel in a dynamic, collaborative environment are essential.
