Job Summary
The Vice President is responsible for overseeing the human resources, labor relations, environmental health and safety (EHS), and security frameworks essential for achieving operational excellence in a continuous manufacturing setting. This executive role collaborates closely with senior leadership to enhance workforce stability, promote a robust safety culture, and achieve optimal business performance results.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage human resources strategies to align with operational goals.
- Develop and implement labor relations strategies within a unionized environment.
- Oversee environmental health and safety protocols to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Enhance security measures within manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive key workforce initiatives and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in human resources.
- Background in unionized, large-scale industrial or defense sectors is essential.
- A bachelor’s degree is mandatory, with a preference for a related master’s degree.
