Job Summary
The Receiving role within the warehouse is critical for ensuring that incoming goods are accurately processed, organized, and stored efficiently. This position is instrumental in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the overall warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify incoming products against purchase orders and delivery receipts.
- Record and document received goods and update inventory systems accordingly.
- Organize and store products in designated areas within the warehouse.
- Coordinate with inventory control to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety procedures.
- Assist in the resolution of discrepancies found during receiving processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in warehouse operations, particularly in receiving preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallets, forklifts, and hand trucks.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management systems.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
