Job Summary
The Warehouse Shipping Associate plays a crucial role in the logistics process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of shipments. The starting hourly wage is $20, with opportunities for growth based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare shipments for distribution.
- Assist with loading and unloading of delivery trucks.
- Maintain organization within the warehouse to maximize efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies as needed.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track shipments and inventory.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping role is an advantage.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for prolonged periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
