Job description
**Job Title:** Wastewater Treatment Operator
Responsibilities include the operation and upkeep of electrical and mechanical equipment used in wastewater treatment, along with executing regular preventive maintenance tasks. You will carry out laboratory analyses, oversee sludge disposal processes, and ensure that the plant’s grounds and facilities are well-maintained. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, along with vocational training in wastewater treatment, and a minimum of one year of applicable experience. A valid driver’s license from South Carolina and a Class D Biological Wastewater certification are also required.
