Job Summary
The Welder plays a crucial role in executing MIG and TIG welding tasks, configuring robotic tools, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety regulations. This position also entails maintaining an organized workspace, recording inspection results, and working in tandem with various departments to complete project tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Conduct MIG and TIG welding as per operational requirements.
- Set up and adjust robotic welding equipment.
- Verify that all welded components adhere to established quality and safety benchmarks.
- Keep the work environment clean and orderly.
- Document inspection findings accurately.
- Collaborate with different teams to fulfill work responsibilities effectively.
Qualifications
- Possession of a high school diploma or GED.
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience or vocational education in welding.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Willingness to obtain AWS certifications including D1.1, D1.3, D1.2, and D1.6.
