Job Summary
The X-Ray Technician is responsible for carrying out standard radiologic tests and providing medical support services under the guidance of a healthcare professional. This role entails various tasks including patient registration, equipment maintenance, and the meticulous documentation of medical records within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine radiologic examinations as directed by clinicians.
- Provide medical support services associated with radiologic practices.
- Manage patient registration processes efficiently.
- Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of medical equipment.
- Document and maintain accurate medical records and reports.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Must possess a state-issued Limited Scope Technician certificate.
- At least six months of experience in medical assisting and X-ray procedures is necessary.
