Job Summary
The X-Ray Technician is tasked with conducting standard radiologic examinations and providing essential medical support while working under a clinician’s supervision. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of clinical procedures and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring comfort and clarity regarding the process.
- Maintain and perform routine checks on radiographic equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Document clinical information accurately and maintain detailed records as required.
- Support clinical workflows by efficiently coordinating with healthcare personnel.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Possession of a state-recognized Limited Scope Technician certification is required.
- A minimum of six months of experience in medical assisting along with performing X-ray procedures is essential.
