Job Summary
The X-Ray Technician is accountable for conducting standard radiologic examinations and assisting with medical procedures under the oversight of a healthcare professional. This role involves ensuring the proper operation of radiologic equipment, facilitating patient movements, and maintaining precise clinical records.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine radiologic examinations following established protocols.
- Assist in various medical support procedures as directed by a clinician.
- Maintain and manage radiologic equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Oversee patient flow to enhance service delivery efficiency.
- Ensure that all clinical documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Qualifications
- Must possess a state-approved Limited Scope Technician certificate and license.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required.
- A minimum of six months of experience in medical assisting and X-ray procedures is preferred.
