Job Summary
The X-Ray Technician is tasked with carrying out standard radiologic tests and providing medical assistance under the guidance of a healthcare provider. This role is pivotal in supporting patient care through technical expertise and maintaining proper operational protocols within the radiology department.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine radiologic examinations to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Provide medical support functions as directed by a supervising clinician.
- Handle patient registration and ensure that all necessary information is accurately recorded.
- Maintain and manage medical imaging equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
- Keep thorough and precise documentation within the healthcare facility’s systems.
Qualifications
- Possession of a state-licensed Limited Scope Technician certificate.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
- A minimum of six months of relevant experience in medical assisting and performing X-ray procedures.
