Job Summary
This role involves conducting routine X-ray procedures, ensuring compliance with radiation safety protocols, managing imaging equipment, and maintaining comprehensive documentation to facilitate efficient radiology workflows. Additionally, the position includes offering medical assistant services such as preparing patients for examinations, conducting tests and procedures, performing triage, managing front-office responsibilities, and assisting with patient flow.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine X-ray examinations while adhering to safety regulations.
- Ensure the proper maintenance of imaging equipment.
- Document procedures accurately and maintain radiology workflow efficiency.
- Prepare patients for tests and assist during medical procedures.
- Perform triage and manage front-office tasks.
- Support overall patient flow within the healthcare setting.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Active ARRT certification and applicable state certification.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Minimum of six months of experience in a medical assistant role.
- Possession of relevant medical support certifications.
- Strong communication, customer service, confidentiality, and teamwork skills.
