Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Process Engineer to be part of our manufacturing engineering team in New Paris, Indiana. This position focuses on adapting to a fast-paced environment, utilizing both technical and hands-on skills to enhance our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to design and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Bring hands-on machining expertise, particularly with mills and/or lathes, to the role.
- Evaluate existing processes and implement improvements for efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct thorough reviews of manufacturing operations and suggest necessary adjustments.
- Utilize Swiss machining techniques where applicable to enhance product quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar engineering role with a focus on manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on machining experience, especially with mills and/or lathes; Swiss machining knowledge is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and rectify process inefficiencies.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with peers.
- Knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles and practices.
