Job Summary
The Senior Principal Cyber Systems Engineer (DevOps Engineer) will be responsible for integrating multiple software components to enhance system performance and reliability within a cyber environment. This role requires a deep understanding of both DevOps practices and systems engineering principles to effectively manage and deliver solutions for advanced cyber systems. The position is located in Herndon, Virginia, and is an onsite role.
Responsibilities
- Integrate and optimize various software components for improved cybersecurity applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust system deployment and operations.
- Implement DevOps practices to streamline development and operational processes.
- Analyze system requirements and design specifications to achieve effective solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree with at least 9 years of pertinent experience, OR
- A Master’s degree accompanied by a minimum of 7 years of relevant expertise.
- Possession of a TS/SCI clearance with a CI Polygraph.
- Strong background in automated deployment and continuous integration environments.
- Proven experience in software development and systems engineering.
