Job Summary
The Packaging Machine Operator plays a crucial role in the operation and maintenance of machines that prepare consumer goods for storage or distribution. This position is located in Rochester, New York, and requires an onsite presence to ensure the efficient functioning of packaging processes within the bottle house, variety pack, and/or draft center.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery involved in the packaging of products.
- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
- Prepare machines for operation and conduct necessary adjustments.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on packaging equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience in operating packaging machinery or related equipment.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to perform mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs.
