Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist OR Flex/Registry Days plays a vital role in delivering exceptional care within a dynamic surgical environment. This position focuses on supporting medical innovations and contributing to a patient-centric atmosphere. The Surgical Technician will assist in preparing the operating room and ensuring that all necessary supplies and equipment are readily available for the surgical team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are sterile and organized.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by anticipating their needs.
- Collaborate with the operating room Charge Nurse to ensure efficient workflow.
- Participate in the candidate review process for new hires in the surgical department.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
- Experience in a surgical setting is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
