Job Summary
The Highway Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, quality, and efficiency of highway management and maintenance. This on-site position based in Afton, Wyoming focuses on upholding high standards in road care and public service.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on highways.
- Ensure the safety and functionality of roadways for public use.
- Adhere to established safety regulations and maintenance standards.
- Work closely with the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) to fulfill service requirements.
Qualifications
- 0-1 year of experience in highway maintenance or a related field.
- A degree, preferably in Engineering, is desired.
- Completion of one year of service to WYDOT is mandatory within two months of hire.
