The Health Services Administrator oversees all medical operations, including staff management, budget administration, and the delivery of direct nursing care to inmates. They serve as the primary liaison between medical staff and the Sheriff’s administration while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and facility policies. Candidates must be a Registered Nurse with at least one year of leadership experience and one year of clinical experience in a correctional facility. A current, unrestricted Oregon nursing license and BLS-HP certification are required.
