Job Summary
The Process Engineer II is primarily responsible for the design and optimization of manufacturing facilities and equipment. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles as they apply to production processes and aims to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Conduct fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and mass and energy balance calculations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing systems for better performance.
- Support the development of process technologies and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience in either an operating company or a design engineering firm.
- Proficient in executing calculations related to fluid mechanics and heat transfer.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and improve manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work onsite in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
- Knowledge of industry standards and practices pertaining to manufacturing engineering.
