Job Summary
We are seeking a professional Manager of Quality Engineering to join our onsite team in Lansing, Michigan. This role involves leadership in ensuring the highest quality standards in the design, manufacture, and servicing of aircraft engines and auxiliary systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering, materials, and maintenance teams to achieve compliance with industry standards and enhance product quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage quality assurance processes for aircraft engines and related systems.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, materials, and maintenance teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Develop and implement quality management strategies and practices.
- Conduct audits and inspections to verify compliance with industry regulations.
- Identify areas for quality improvement and drive initiatives to address them.
Qualifications
- Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in quality management within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of industry standards related to quality assurance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
