Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift position is based in Gastonia, North Carolina and is a permanent role focused on the maintenance of manufacturing equipment. This position involves working onsite to ensure optimal functionality and reliability of production systems during the 3rd shift hours.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues as they arise.
- Ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed according to established safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with team members to improve machinery reliability and uptime.
Qualifications
- A background in electronics, mechanical maintenance, or equivalent military experience is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a maintenance role is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within the team.
- Willingness to work the designated 3rd shift schedule.
