Job Summary
The Engineering Technician will play a vital role in the implementation and maintenance of Electronic Security Systems (ESS), including alarms, access control, and CCTV solutions. This position is essential for ensuring that all security systems are operational and effectively meeting the needs of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure electronic security systems such as alarms, access control systems, and CCTV cameras.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure the proper functioning of all security apparatus.
- Collaborate with team members to design and execute security plans tailored to specific requirements.
- Assist in the training of users on the correct operation of security systems.
- Keep comprehensive records of system installations, service, and repairs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the field of electronic security systems installation and maintenance.
- Strong technical skills, particularly with ESS, alarms, access control, and CCTV technology.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Relevant certifications or training in electronic security systems are a plus.
