Job description
The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for delivering both direct and indirect patient care. This includes monitoring vital signs, recording patient requirements, and administering medications. They support healthcare providers during examinations, carry out laboratory tests, and ensure the upkeep of clinical and administrative documentation. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED, along with a current Medical Assisting certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA). Additionally, candidates must have graduated from an accredited medical assistant program and hold a BLS certification.
