Job Summary
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will play a crucial role in the design, development, and enhancement of mechanical systems and products. Responsibilities
- Design and analyze mechanical systems and components to ensure their functionality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs into overall product development.
- Conduct simulations and testing of prototypes to validate designs and improve performance.
- Utilize CAD software and other engineering tools to create detailed technical drawings and specifications.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and support team development efforts.
- Evaluate and implement cost-effective solutions to enhance product functionality and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Extensive experience (typically 5+ years) in mechanical engineering with a proven record in product development and project management.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, along with a firm understanding of engineering analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong analytical mindset.
