Job Summary
Federal Realty Investment Trust is on the lookout for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in San Jose, California. This onsite role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of various property functions, including upkeep of loading docks, compactor areas, service areas, and common spaces.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and oversee the functionality and safety of loading docks and designated service areas.
- Ensure cleanliness and operational efficiency in common areas as well as other assigned locations.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and respond to maintenance requests promptly.
- Utilize equipment and tools effectively to carry out repair and maintenance duties.
- Collaborate with the property operations team to support overall building management efforts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance duties or a related field.
- Certification or ability to operate a forklift is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders effectively.
