Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Med Surg department plays a vital role in providing essential support and care for patients during night shifts. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and document patients’ vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assist in the implementation of patient care plans.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in accordance with state regulations.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
